The Guild of Machine Knitters
Aims:
To increase awareness of machine knitting as a craft, to provide
help and encouragement to all knitters, to encourage and maintain a high
standard of craftsmanship, to encourage young people to take up the
craft, to foster these aims by the award of certificates, to organise
Guild shows and exhibitions, to liaise with manufacturers and suppliers,
to foster links between UK knitters and those overseas and to promote
greater media awareness.
